Our Policies
All dogs MUST be up to date on Distemper, Parvo, and Rabies vaccinations. We require that dogs are vaccinated every 3 years. We don’t recommend over vaccination, for more information on this please visit
We have an obligation to provide each dog with a healthy environment. All dogs are inspected for critters during the check-in process. If fleas or ticks are found, the dog must leave and have a flea/tick bath. The dog may return after the bath or dip is administered. Deyo Mission Kennels DOES NOT dip or give flea/tick baths to your dog. We only allow clean, healthy, pest-free dogs to board at our facility.
Although we love all breeds of dogs, we recognize that some breeds tend to be more aggressive than others. If you have an aggressive breed dog, arrangements must be made to meet the dog prior to any kennel stay. At this time we will ascertain if he/she would be permitted to board at the kennel. We reserve the right to prohibit admittance of ANY aggressive dog to Deyo Mission Kennels.
The Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine must be administered no more than 6 months and no less than 7 days prior to boarding at the kennel. Please Be Aware that because of the many strains of kennel cough even vaccinated dogs can contract kennel cough. Current vaccination records MUST be provided to admit a dog(s) to the boarding kennel. We reserve the right to prohibit admittance of dogs lacking proof of vaccinations.
